“Perform your obligatory duty, because action is indeed better than inaction.”
This is the famous quote from Bhagavad-Gita, a part of one the epics of India “MAHABHARAT”. Bhagavad-Gita contains many famous quotes preached by Lord Krishna to Arjuna. But this is one of my favourite quotes which I would love to follow. Bhagavad-Gita when read once gives it straight meaning and when you read it peacefully again, you will got to understand another dimension of meaning enfolded inside.
This quote which I am fond of simply says that “Do your duty and leave the rest to God”. When you read it again, you will be able to understand the truth behind it. It conveys the meaning that do your duty for which you have born in this earth. And the enwrapped meaning is that don’t expect anything in return for doing your work. We should do our work without any expectance which in turns clarifies that you will definitely reap the fruit for the sowed seed. (As you sow, so you reap!)
See, I got to understand these dimensions. When you read it, you might conceive it in a new version also. You may have your own favourite lines that you would like to follow in your life. Let me know which your favourite is ones?
